From Freelancer to Founder
I started on Upwork in 2015 as a solo freelancer — handling SEO, paid ads, web development, and virtual assistant work for clients across the US, UK, and Australia. Over 7,778 hours and 100+ projects later, I earned Upwork's Top Rated Plus badge and maintained a 97% job success score.
But as my client base grew, I noticed a pattern: business owners kept asking me to help them find reliable VAs. They'd tried hiring on their own — job boards, random freelancer sites, referrals — and kept getting burned. Bad communication. Missed deadlines. Ghosting.
I knew Filipino talent was world-class because I worked alongside them every day. The problem wasn't the talent pool. It was the process. That's why I built Armasourcing — a system that vets, matches, and manages VAs so business owners never have to gamble on a hire again.
