Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This page lists every cookie and similar technology that armasourcing.com uses, who sets it, what it does, and how long it lasts. It also lets you change your choice. For everything else about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We also use local storage, which is a similar browser feature, and pixels, which are tiny scripts that tell an advertising platform that a visit happened. We treat all of them the same way on this page.
Your choices
In short: If you are in the EU, the UK, or the EEA, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them. Everywhere else they are on by default. Either way, you can switch them off here.
Our site works out whether you are in the EU, the UK, or the EEA from your browser’s time zone and language settings. If you are, a banner asks you to accept or decline before any analytics or advertising cookie that identifies you is set. Everywhere else, including the United States, those cookies run by default. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, we switch analytics and advertising cookies off without you doing anything.
Use the controls below to change your choice for this browser. The change applies the next time a page loads.
Switching them off stops the analytics and advertising cookies in the tables below from being set for this browser, removes the ones already set on armasourcing.com. Google Analytics then receives only a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier attached. OpenAI’s script keeps one cookie, __oaiq_consent, which records that you said no. Cookies set by other companies on their own domains, such as Calendly’s, are controlled in your browser settings. Clearing your browser data also clears your choice, so you may be asked again.
Necessary
These keep the site working and remember your choices. They are not used for advertising, and the site needs them, so they cannot be switched off here.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| arma_consent | Armasourcing (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics and advertising cookies. | Until you clear it |
| arma_attr | Armasourcing | Remembers which campaign, search, or referring site brought you to us, so we know which marketing is worth doing again. It holds no name or contact detail. | 90 days |
| arma_geo | Armasourcing (session storage) | Remembers the country we worked out from your IP address, so visitors in the Philippines see our careers information and everyone else sees our hiring information. Looked up once per visit through ipapi.co. | Until you close the tab |
| __cf_bm, _cfuvid, cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Tell real visitors apart from bots and protect our forms through the Turnstile check. Cloudflare sets them on its own domain and on the domains of services that also use Cloudflare, such as Calendly and OpenAI. | 30 minutes to 1 day |
Analytics
These tell us which pages people visit, where they came from, and which forms they complete, so we can improve the site. They do not tell us who you are.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Gives your browser a random ID so repeat visits can be counted as one visitor. | 13 months |
| _ga_1Q9SKNDXZX | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit for our Google Analytics property. | 13 months |
| No cookie | Cloudflare Web Analytics | Counts page views and load times without storing anything in your browser. | Not applicable |
Advertising measurement
We buy a small amount of advertising. These technologies tell the advertising platform that someone who saw one of our ads later visited the site or sent an enquiry, so we can tell whether the advertising worked. They do not give us your name. Under US state privacy laws these may count as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising, which is what the Turn off control above opts you out of.
| Name | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Links a visit back to a Google ad click so a conversion can be counted. | 90 days | |
| __oaiq_consent, __obref, oaiq_consent | OpenAI | Measure our advertising in ChatGPT: remember your consent state and whether you arrived from a ChatGPT ad. | 30 days to 1 year |
Embedded services
Some pages embed a service from another company, which sets its own cookies inside the embedded area. We do not control those cookies. Each company’s own notice explains them.
| Service | Where | What it does | Their notice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calendly | Our scheduling page | Runs the booking calendar. Calendly sets its own cookies and loads its own measurement tools inside the calendar. | Calendly privacy notice |
| YouTube | Some blog posts and pages | Plays embedded videos in privacy enhanced mode, which sets no cookie until you press play. | Google privacy policy |
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see, delete, and block cookies. The usual places are Settings, Privacy and security in Chrome and Edge, Settings, Privacy & Security in Firefox, and Settings, Privacy in Safari. If you block all cookies, some parts of our site, such as the booking calendar, may not work.
You can also install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on, turn off Google’s advertising features in Google Ads Settings, and turn on Global Privacy Control in a browser or extension that supports it.
