Weave’s base plan starts at $199 a month, with two add-on bundles at $149 a month each (Weave pricing pages, accessed November 2026). A single dental office that takes everything pays about $497 a month at list price, before taxes, surcharges, extra phones and card processing, plus a one-time activation fee. Weave cut its entry price from $249 to $199 around July 2026, so articles quoting $249 are out of date.

A note on who is writing this: Armasourcing provides front desk staffing to dental and medical practices, which some practices use alongside phone software like Weave. We have no relationship with Weave. Figures come from Weave’s own pages, terms and SEC filings unless labeled otherwise.

Weave does not state on its pricing pages whether prices are per location. On its fourth-quarter 2025 earnings call, the company said licensing is based on location and consumption rather than seats. Weave’s own FAQ is candid that some of its products are more expensive than competitors’, and there is no free trial of the full platform.

1 location, base plan only$199$2,388 plus activation

3 locations, base plus both bundles$1,491$17,892 plus activation

    Phones and hardware

Weave supplies desk phones under lease arrangements, and its annual report says subscription and phone hardware fees are paid in advance. Leased phones remain Weave’s property and must be returned within ten business days after termination; purchased equipment can be returned within 14 days. Weave does not publish a per-phone price.

Contract terms to read before you sign

These come from Weave’s Terms of Service (updated October 2, 2026). They are common in business phone contracts, but worth knowing up front:

    • Month-to-month is available. Weave says it does not require long-term contracts and discounts annual commitments. About 27% of locations prepaid annually at the end of 2025, according to its 10-K.
    • Prices can rise. Subscription fees may increase by up to 10% in any twelve-month period without notice, and by more with advance notice.
    • Annual orders auto-renew. Orders of a year or longer renew unless you give notice at least 30 days before the term ends.
    • Cancelling takes your phone numbers with it. Monthly plans need 30 days’ notice before the next billing period, and cancellation is not effective until all phone numbers on the account are ported out. There are no refunds.
    • Leaving a term early means paying the outstanding balance of the subscription.

    What reviewers say

Weave holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating from more than 950 reviews on Trustpilot, where it replies to most negative reviews. Its Better Business Bureau profile shows a D- rating and 36 complaints over three years, mostly about billing and contract terms. As with any review site, these are individual experiences rather than proof of a pattern, but billing and cancellation come up often enough to read the terms above carefully.

    Where Weave is strong

    • One platform for phones, texting, reminders, reviews and payments, which suits practices that want fewer vendors.
    • Multi-location reporting for phones at no extra cost since 2022, with Call Intelligence comparison views for groups added in April 2026.
    • ADA endorsement: since March 2026 Weave has been the ADA member program’s endorsed patient engagement platform, with member discounts.
    • A BAA in its terms for practices handling patient information.

    Software or people?

Phone software makes calls easier to handle, but it does not answer them. If the real problem is calls ringing out while the front desk is checking patients in, more receptionist capacity may matter more than a new platform. Practices handle that with another hire (see our dental receptionist salary guide for the full cost), an answering service, or a dedicated remote team. Our virtual dental receptionist and virtual medical receptionist services work with the phone system you already have, including Weave, so you do not have to switch platforms to fix coverage.

    Frequently asked questions

How much does Weave cost per month?

Weave’s base plan starts at $199 a month. Adding the Coordinate and Attract bundles at $149 a month each brings a single office to about $497 a month at list price, before taxes, surcharges, extra phones and card processing.

Does Weave charge a setup fee?

Weave charges an activation fee for onboarding. Dental society offer pages list the standard activation fee as $1,950, reduced to $500 for their members.

Does Weave require a long-term contract?

No. Weave says it does not require long-term contracts and offers discounts for annual commitments. Annual orders renew automatically unless you give notice at least 30 days before the term ends.

    Can Weave raise its prices?

Yes. Weave’s terms allow subscription fees to rise by up to 10% in any twelve-month period without notice, and by more with advance notice.

    How do I cancel Weave?

Month-to-month accounts need 30 days’ notice before the next billing period, and cancellation is not effective until all your phone numbers have been ported out. Weave does not give refunds.

    Does Weave sign a BAA?

Yes. Weave’s Business Associate Addendum is part of its terms, which matters for dental and medical practices handling patient information.

What are the main Weave alternatives?

Dental offices commonly compare Weave with NexHealth, RevenueWell, Podium, Lighthouse 360, Solutionreach, Yapi, Adit, Mango Voice and Dental Intelligence. Some practices also add receptionist capacity, such as a virtual dental receptionist, because software alone does not answer the phone.
