Most lists of outsourcing companies in Australia mix four completely different businesses together. A thousand-seat contact centre operator, an Australian-owned team in Manila, a virtual assistant agency, and a matching service are not competing for the same job, but they all show up in the same search. Picking the wrong model costs more than picking the wrong company inside the right one.
This comparison covers fifteen providers across four buying models, with what each is genuinely good at and where each one falls down. Armasourcing is on the list, and we have been explicit about that below.
How we picked these outsourcing companies
Every provider here appears in the live Australian search results for outsourcing, BPO or contact centre services, has a public website describing what it sells, and serves Australian businesses in English. Company descriptions reflect each provider’s own public positioning as of August 2026, and every entry links to its own site so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
We publish this list and we are on it. That is worth saying plainly, because most roundups in this category are published by providers who quietly put themselves at number one. We have put ourselves in the category we actually compete in, which is not the largest one on this page, and we have written the same “worth knowing” limitation for our own entry that we wrote for everyone else’s.
No pricing figures appear below. Rates in this category go stale quickly and almost every provider quotes against scope, so any number here would mislead you more than it would help.
First, the honest part about offshore
Australia has a live public debate about offshore support, and any list that ignores it is selling you something. Telstra, Optus and several of the big energy and banking brands have publicly moved call centre roles back onshore in response to customer sentiment. If your brand is consumer-facing at national scale, and your customers will notice and care where the phone is answered, that is a real commercial factor and no cost saving offsets it.
For most Australian businesses, though, that is not the situation. A twelve person services firm in Brisbane drowning in admin is not Telstra. The useful question is not “onshore or offshore” in the abstract, it is whether the work is judged by the customer on accent and location, or judged on whether it got done accurately and on time.
One thing genuinely does favour Australia here. Manila is two hours behind AEST, so an offshore team works an ordinary daytime shift at both ends with no night work involved. Perth is the easy case: AWST and Manila are both UTC+8, so the hours match exactly. That is not true of the same team supporting a United States client, where somebody is working through the night.
Enterprise CX and large BPO providers
These run multi-hundred or multi-thousand seat programs with formal workforce management, compliance frameworks and redundancy across sites. If you are a national brand with a large support operation, this is your shortlist. If you need six people, you will struggle to get a meeting.
1. Probe CX
Probe CX is one of the largest Australian-headquartered customer experience providers, running contact centre and digital transformation work across Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and India. It is a common answer for large enterprise and government-adjacent programs that need scale plus an Australian corporate entity.
Best for: large Australian enterprises wanting scale with an Australian-headquartered provider.
Worth knowing: enterprise procurement pace. Contracts, onboarding and change requests move slowly, and small accounts rarely get senior attention.
2. TSA Group
TSA Group is an Australian outsourcer focused on end-to-end customer experience, with particular depth in telecommunications, energy and financial services. It ranks consistently in Australian searches for call centre outsourcing and is a frequent shortlist name for regulated, high-volume consumer programs.
Best for: regulated, high-volume consumer programs in telco, energy and finance.
Worth knowing: its sweet spot is large sustained volume. A seasonal or small program is not the natural fit.
3. Acquire BPO
Acquire BPO is a global outsourcer with strong Australian ties and large delivery operations in the Philippines and elsewhere. It covers customer service, sales and back office across a wide client base, and sits comfortably in the tier above most of the Philippines-based providers below.
Best for: mid-market to enterprise buyers wanting multi-function scale across several sites.
Worth knowing: broad service catalogues can mean your program is one of many. Ask specifically who manages your account day to day.
4. Startek Australia
Startek is a global customer experience provider with an Australian presence and delivery across many countries. It appears regularly in Australian BPO roundups and suits buyers who want a global operator rather than a local specialist.
Best for: buyers wanting a global delivery footprint with multi-country redundancy.
Worth knowing: global standardisation is the point, so expect less bespoke process design than a smaller provider would offer.
Australian-owned teams delivered from the Philippines
This is the most crowded category in the Australian market and the one most people actually mean when they say outsourcing. The model is an Australian company, Australian account management and contracts, with the staff employed in the Philippines. Typically you get dedicated full-time people rather than shared pooled agents.
5. Beepo
Beepo is an Australian-owned outsourcing company operating in the Philippines, and it currently holds the top organic position in Australia for this search. It positions around solving skills shortages as much as cutting cost, and covers a wide spread of functions including real estate, finance and administration.
Best for: Australian businesses wanting an established, well-known Australian-owned provider with Philippines delivery.
Worth knowing: established providers price like established providers. Compare against smaller operators before assuming the market rate.
6. Satellite Office
Satellite Office builds dedicated offshore teams for Australian businesses with an emphasis on control and end-to-end support, positioning itself toward the premium end of the offshore staffing market rather than the budget end.
Best for: businesses building a sizeable offshore team who want infrastructure and support around it.
Worth knowing: the model favours committed team size. It is a heavier setup than hiring one or two people.
7. Twoconnect
Twoconnect is an Australian outsourcing provider offering offshore staffing built around remote staff for scaling businesses, competing directly in the same lane as Beepo and Satellite Office.
Best for: growing Australian businesses adding remote offshore staff function by function.
Worth knowing: smaller and less widely reviewed than the category leaders, so reference checks matter more.
8. Cloudstaff
Cloudstaff provides multi-function remote teams across IT, support and administration, based primarily in the Philippines, and is one of the larger and more technology-forward operators serving Australian clients.
Best for: technical and IT-heavy roles alongside standard support and admin functions.
Worth knowing: the breadth is real but so is the size. Clarify what account management you get at your headcount.
9. 24×7 Direct
24×7 Direct is an Australian offshore staffing provider placing Philippines-based staff with Australian small and medium businesses, and publishes its own comparison content on the Australian outsourcing market.
Best for: Australian SMEs hiring their first offshore staff members.
Worth knowing: a smaller operator, so depth of bench for specialist roles is worth testing before you commit.
Virtual assistant and small-team providers
The distinction from the category above is mostly headcount and formality. These providers will place one to five people rather than build you a floor, and the engagement is lighter. If you need a person rather than a department, start here.
10. BruntWork
BruntWork is a high-volume offshore staffing and virtual assistant supplier covering Australian business hours, operating at significant scale across many client types and roles.
Best for: fast placement of individual offshore staff at competitive rates.
Worth knowing: high volume models optimise for speed of placement. If you want deep vetting on a specialist role, probe the process.
11. Outsourcing Angel
Outsourcing Angel is an Australian agency connecting small and medium businesses with trained virtual assistants, with a marketing and administration lean and a strong small business brand presence.
Best for: Australian small businesses delegating marketing and admin for the first time.
Worth knowing: the focus is admin and marketing support. Specialist technical or regulated work sits outside the core offering.
12. Level Up Outsourcing
Level Up Outsourcing is an Australian outsourcing provider with a strong local review presence, serving small and medium businesses adding offshore support staff.
Best for: SMEs who want an Australian point of contact and a light engagement.
Worth knowing: smaller scale means less redundancy. Ask what happens when your person takes leave.
13. Armasourcing
Armasourcing places dedicated Filipino virtual assistants and customer service staff with Australian businesses, employing the staff directly rather than operating as a marketplace. The model is one named person or a small dedicated team working your hours, with a replacement guarantee if the match is wrong. We publish the rates and legal detail for Australian businesses separately.
Best for: Australian businesses wanting one to five dedicated people, working AEST or AWST hours, with a named person rather than a rotating pool.
Worth knowing: we are the smallest provider on this page and we deliver only from the Philippines. We have no multi-country redundancy, no thousand-seat capacity, and we are the wrong answer if you are migrating a large existing contact centre or need onshore Australian agents for brand reasons. For that, look at Probe CX or TSA Group above.
Marketplaces and matching services
These do not deliver the work. They introduce you to providers who do, which is useful if you want a shortlist quickly and do not mind that the model is usually funded by the suppliers.
14. Matchboard
Matchboard is an Australian matching service that connects buyers with suppliers across sales, service and back office, and holds strong visibility in Australian outsourcing searches. It vets suppliers before listing them and publishes useful market commentary alongside the matching service.
Best for: getting a vetted shortlist quickly without researching the market yourself.
Worth knowing: matching services are typically paid by the supplier, so treat the shortlist as a starting point rather than an independent ranking.
15. Clutch
Clutch is a global B2B review marketplace with an Australian category for call centres and outsourcing, carrying verified client reviews and filters by budget and focus area.
Best for: reading verified client reviews before you make contact.
Worth knowing: listing prominence is influenced by paid placement, so read the reviews rather than the ordering.
Which model actually fits your business
The fastest way to narrow this page down is headcount and control, not price.
If you need fifty or more seats with formal service levels, workforce management and multi-site redundancy, you want the enterprise tier. Probe CX, TSA Group, Acquire BPO and Startek exist for this and the smaller providers genuinely cannot do it.
If you need roughly ten to fifty people as a dedicated offshore team, with Australian contracts and account management, the Australian-owned Philippines providers are the right category. Beepo, Satellite Office, Twoconnect, Cloudstaff and 24×7 Direct all compete here and the differences come down to price, bench depth and how much support infrastructure you want.
If you need one to five people, the enterprise tier will not return your call and the offshore team builders are heavier than you need. BruntWork, Outsourcing Angel, Level Up Outsourcing and Armasourcing all operate at this size.
If you do not know yet, a matching service costs you nothing directly and produces a shortlist in a week.
Two related comparisons may help if your requirement is narrower than “outsourcing”. We maintain a roundup of customer service outsourcing companies if the work is specifically support, and a wider list of virtual assistant companies in the Philippines if you are hiring individuals rather than teams. For managed teams from ten seats, our contact centre outsourcing overview covers the channel and vertical detail this page skips.
What Australian buyers should check before signing
Five questions separate a good provider from a bad one in this market, and none of them are about price.
Where does the data go, and under what terms? Australian Privacy Principle 8 governs cross-border disclosure of personal information. If your provider handles customer data offshore, you remain accountable for it. Ask for the data handling terms in writing before you sign, not after.
Who employs the staff? There is a real difference between a provider who employs the person and a marketplace that introduces you to a contractor. It changes who carries the employment obligation, who handles replacement, and who is accountable when something goes wrong.
Named person or shared pool? Pooled models are cheaper and fine for overflow phone work. They are poor for anything requiring context about your business. Get this clarified explicitly, because both are commonly sold as “dedicated”.
What actually happens when it does not work out? Ask for the replacement terms, the notice period and who absorbs the retraining time. A provider confident in its vetting will answer this quickly.
What are the real hours? AEST, AEDT and AWST are three different answers, and daylight saving shifts the overlap twice a year. Confirm the shift in the provider’s local time, not just yours.
The short version
Australia’s outsourcing market is deep and the providers on this page are mostly good at what they do. The mistake buyers make is not choosing a bad company, it is choosing a company built for a different size of problem. Work out whether you need a department, a team, or a person, then shortlist inside that tier and ignore the rest of the page.
If you want to talk through which tier your situation falls into, including when the answer is one of the other providers here, book a discovery call and we will give you a straight answer.
